Hours of instruction:

Weekly: three hours of lectures + five hours of labwork (3+0+5)

Goals:

The aim of this course, is that student complete their theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of electrochemical and optical methods of analysis. Students will be trained to independently carry out measurements and determination of the basic electrochemical (conductivity, potentiometry, polarography and electrolysis) and optical methods (UV/VIS spectrophotometry and emission and absorption by flame photometry).

Outcome:

After this course the student is able to properly select and apply appropriate micro-or macro-intrumentalne methods in the analysis of complex samples including samples from the environment.
