Hours of instruction:

Weekly: three hours of lectures + two hours of exercises + three hours of labwork (3+2+3)

Goals:

Under this subject, the physical basis of the reactivity of organic compounds, is studied. Through it, students will become familiar with methods for examination and determination of the organic reaction mechanisms.

Outcome:

At the end of this study course, students will acquire the independence in estimation of the validity of organic reaction mechanisms.

Teaching methods:

Lectures, experimental laboratory work, theoretical and/or computational exercises, seminar.

Extracurricular activities:

Seminar assay will be prepared and written at home and in computer laboratory. Students are invited to ask for regular consultation, and professor and/or assistant will respond at least once per week.
