Museum manners

The Great Serbian Chemists' Collection is dedicated to creating a unique experience for visitors. Therefore, we must ensure that the valuable heritage exhibited in the Collection stays intact. Please follow the rules listed below.

Personal belongings

The collection has a limited exhibition space, so we advise you to leave large luggage at home. Make sure that the jackets, umbrellas and bags do not damage the exhibits, and contact the curator for help.

Photographing and filming policy

We are very pleased that you like the exhibited items, so we encourage you to share your impressions with others. Due to the value of the exhibits, please turn off the flash when recording or taking photos for personal use. For shooting and photographing for commercial purposes (journalists, bloggers, producers of films, commercials and series, etc.) send a request at zbirka@chem.bg.ac.rs.

Food and drinks

Visitors are not allowed to bring drinks and food into the exhibition rooms of the Collection in order to avoid damaging the exhibits.

No smoking policy

Smoking is forbidden in all rooms of the Collection because cigarette smoke damages the objects on display.

Pets

For safety reasons, the introduction of pets is strictly forbidden (the rule does not apply to guide dogs used by the disabled).

Other rules

Please do not touch the exhibits without the curator's permission.

Shouting and running on the premises is forbidden in order to enable other visitors to see and study the exhibition in peace.

We want you to have a pleasant visit to the Collection. Our staff will be happy to answer any questions you might have, so you are welcome to write at zbirka@chem.bg.ac.rs.
